    Modified Bitumen Roofing

    Modified bitumen multi-ply systems are built for demanding conditions — high foot traffic, mechanical-service access and durable surface requirements common on commercial buildings. Metro Shields Contracting installs, repairs and assesses SBS and APP modified bitumen assemblies.

    Proposals specify ply configuration, attachment method and surfacing, along with flashing scope and exclusions, so specifications are clear before mobilization.

    We work with TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, commercial metal roofing and fluid-applied coating systems. System recommendations are made after an assessment of deck type, building use, drainage, budget and ownership goals — not assumed in advance.
    Can roofing work be scheduled around business operations?+
    Yes. We plan around tenants, operating hours, deliveries and property access, and can phase work or schedule specific operations off-hours where the project allows.
    What documentation is provided during a project?+
    Before, during and after photographs, progress updates, change-order records where applicable, and closeout information at completion. Documentation standards are defined in the proposal.
